Round Robin Game – Girling RFC Under 8’s vs. Chepstow RFC Under 8’s

Team – Amelie (Capt.), Flynn, Tomos, Henry, Owen, Tomas, Will, Otis

With a spirited performance under their belt Chepstow were raring to go again. Otis was once again on a run and a quick pass to Tomas in support sent him over to put Chepstow ahead. Chepstow managed to turn the ball over at the restart and a passage of play involving almost the whole team saw the ball touched down but no try awarded as play was pulled back. With the bit between their teeth Chepstow were determined to get the ball over, Flynn eventually doing the honours and giving Chepstow a 2-0 lead. Despite Girling pulling one back Chepstow never looked in trouble in a stop start encounter that saw no more tries but plenty of defensive endeavour from Chepstow as Girling went in search of an equaliser.
